Cool, powerful, quiet. Review by Richard
Overall Rating
I have been running these motors on 3 multirotors...550mm Hexacopter, a 450mm quad and an X8 - 450mm. The 550 is an AP craft. The motors run about 15-20 degrees F cooler than my previous motors. On a 2600 g hexa with 947 CF props on 4s LiPos, at 76F, flying AP style, the warmest they have got was 97F. The 450mm is my sport flyer. I gets flown VERY hard. The motors don't miss a beat. 1038 props, 3s on a 870 g craft. The X8 -450 is a new build, so not much air time, yet. The maiden flight produced crazy amounts of thrust, though.

Over all, considering they are 1/2 the price of T-motors, at the exact exact same quality...it's a no-brainer. (Posted on October 17, 2013)

Nice power, very cool running, Great motors for medium size prop hex Review by RDT
Overall Rating
6 of these motors were used on a recent Tarot FY690S hexacopter build, using 4S and 1238 props. The long motor wires allowed me to keep my ESC on the fuselage, so I didn't have to modify my ESC cap's. These motors run very cool, according to my OSD, they have enough power for better flight times than the airframe manufacturers motor recommendations are getting, according to other flyers. On 4S 10,000mAh, these motors afford me 20 mins in the air (with video to prove it) on a 3500 gram Hexa. My ONLY complaint is the mounting holes on the motor mounts needed to be modified to accept the "non-standard" motor mount dimensions. Other than that...I could not be happier!
