Outstanding motors Review by Fred All my reviews  (3)
Overall Rating
I recently purchased the X2216 KV800 II motors and I could not be happier. I have purchased over 34 motors in the past year because I fly several multi-rotors. Some engines have failed due to bad bearings or soldering joints. The SunnySky motors stand out. They provide the power and torque that I need. I plan on replacing several of my existing stock with SunnySky motors over the next few months. They are solid engines and priced just right. (Posted on November 25, 2013)

Excellent value- you get more than you pay for Review by EngineerX All my reviews  (3)

I've been using these motors on a 1.4 kg HT-Flip quad. 3S, 10x3.8, 30A SimonK ESC's, CC3D and FPV gear. Great bearing life, well balanced, and plenty of power. Motor temperature is not hot like other motors I used to have. I will not be buying anything but SunnySky motors. Pricepoint is just right, but must important is reliability, quality, and performance and you do get all 3 with these motors (Posted on November 21, 2013)

Cool, powerful, quiet. Review by Richard All my reviews  (3)

I have been running these motors on 3 multirotors...550mm Hexacopter, a 450mm quad and an X8 - 450mm. The 550 is an AP craft. The motors run about 15-20 degrees F cooler than my previous motors. On a 2600 g hexa with 947 CF props on 4s LiPos, at 76F, flying AP style, the warmest they have got was 97F. The 450mm is my sport flyer. I gets flown VERY hard. The motors don't miss a beat. 1038 props, 3s on a 870 g craft. The X8 -450 is a new build, so not much air time, yet. The maiden flight produced crazy amounts of thrust, though.

Over all, considering they are 1/2 the price of T-motors, at the exact exact same quality...it's a no-brainer. (Posted on October 17, 2013)

I've been using the SS motors on multirotors and planes for over a year now. They're very good quality, powerful and dependable motors with great bearings. (Posted on July 13, 2013)

I am very happy with the 2216 880kv motor Review by Ronald All my reviews  (4)
Overall Rating
After reading several reviews on the Sunny Sky motors I ordered the 2216 880 motor for my Super Cub to replace a Park 400 motor. What a difference that made! The 2216 was smoother in performance and very powerful. Running a 9x6 APC prop I have all the power I need with quick acceleration and higher efficiency. It was less expensive by one half and a better performing motor at that!
