Follow the instructions and it works great! Review by Jyunte All my reviews  (1)

I bought a V3 ParaBoard with Deans connectors, and one with EC3 connectors, however, I'll probably eventually standardize all my LiPo packs with Anderson Power Poles, so the Anderson Power Pole ParaBoard is next on my list.

Using the ParaBoard is easy:

1) All battery packs MUST have the same number of cells (eg. All 2S, or all 3S, or all 6S etc).

2) Each LiPo pack can have the same, or different capacities (eg. 2200mAh, 3300mAh, 5000mAh, etc)

3) Each LiPo pack's overall voltage MUST be within 0.1V of every other LiPo pack that will be parallel charged. Check with a LiPo voltage tester.

4) No individual cell in any of the LiPo packs to be parallel charged should be more than 0.2V different from any other cell in any other pack. This is easily checked with a LiPo voltage tester that shows the individual cell voltages. Several voltage testers show the difference between the cell with highest voltage and the cell with the lowest voltage in a pack, with a simple push of a button.

5) Add up the capacities of all the LiPo packs to be charged (eg. Charging three LiPo 3S packs.. Two 2200mAh, and one 2500mAh... total capacity is 6900mAh, or 6.9Ah).

6) If T = Total Capacity (in Ah), and C = Charge rate (LOWEST C rating for the packs, so as not to charge a low-rated pack too quickly), then:

Charging Current = T x C

eg. For the example in step 5 above, to charge all the packs at once, at 2C...

6.9Ah x 2C = 13.8 Amps

Set your charger to charge 3S LiPo packs at 13.8 Amps. All 3 packs will be charged in the same time it would normally take you to charge just one pack, at 2C!

Another example: To parallel charge four 1300mAh batteries at 3C:

4 x 1300mAh = 5.2Ah
5.2 x 3C = 15.6 Amps

A good video to watch is this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qkb75ZKHCMU however, it advertises a competitor's, lower quality product. Ignore the competitor's knock-off product, but follow the directions, if you found the above hard to follow. Once you get the hang of parallel charging, it'll seem simple! Fantastic paraboard Review by Jeffrey All my reviews  (11)

I use this board to charge a multitude of batteries. Even if my batteries do not have the t plug I plug into bottom of board with another charge cable and use the balance portion. What a time saver when combined with a powerful charger such as the icharger 308 duo. (Posted on April 23, 2014)

This unit is straight forward and easy to use. It is idiot proof and protected by several fuses. I comfortably charge 3-3S-3300 LIPO's at one time with ICharger 306B in less than 30 minutes. It has the capacity to handle high Charge rates. I highly recommend. (Posted on February 12, 2014)

I have now had time to use this paraboard and all that I can say is, way to go EP Buddy. This board is very convenient to use and has performed flawlessly. You can look and feel the quality that has been designed into this charge board. I get comments at the field as to where I got this. (Posted on February 9, 2014)
