OMPHOBBY BIGHORN 49" Pro Flap Version Receiver Ready Balsa Airplane

The prop, motor esc combination in this plane is really good, very smooth and quiet. It flies like a hot sport plane nothing floaty at all, tracking is really good.
The recommended throws however are not realistic, they are way too much.
i moved the ball links on the servo arms in by 2 holes on all servos and this reduced throw was a big improvement. The flaps are huge and a large down elevator mix is required to avoid ballooning. I have Flaps set at 15 degrees with 5 degrees of down elevator mixed in and 30 degrees flaps with 9 degrees down elevator mixed in, it a good starting point. I found the the supplied elevator pushrod to be a bit short and as a result it is not screwed very far into the ball link. i am considering changing this. All in all very,very happy with this plane 1star taken off for short push rod and throw recommendations
