FT EZ ID was developed not just to meet FAA regulations but also to introduce features that enhance everyday flying experiences.
Crafted entirely in the United States by Flite Test, Tritium Electronics, and the FPVFC, FT EZ ID offers an exceptional solution for RC model airplane and recreational drone pilots. Our aim was to create the most lightweight and adaptable remote ID solution for seamless use across various aircraft.
Weighing only 10g, FT EZ ID operates efficiently from a 3.3V to an 8-cell battery power source. It integrates a GPS receiver and Bluetooth transmitter (4 and 5) with printed circuit board antennas, reducing weight and eliminating the need for external antennas hanging from the aircraft. With a low average power draw of 10 milliamps, the FT EZ ID imposes minimal power usage on radio control fixed-wing or multirotor aircraft.
Installing and transferring the FT EZ ID across an entire fleet of recreational aircraft is effortless, and it can be mounted within a multirotor stack using its 20x20-millimeter mounting holes.
The future of FT EZ ID goes beyond compliance; the free Flite Test app unlocks extra features like "Find my plane." Upcoming additions like Logbook and more will not only help in preserving memories but also celebrate accomplishments within the hobby.
