Introducing the brand new Ethix Mr. Steele V3 (Silk) motor, designed to provide buttery smooth 4S freestyle! This third iteration of the Mr. Steele motor line builds upon the success of its predecessors, offering an even higher flight envelope with enhanced features.
The motor features the same beloved 2306 stator but with a beefier and smoother 9mm ball bearing, increasing its overall durability and heat dissipation. The 6S variant boasts a slightly higher KV of 50KV, providing more power without sacrificing efficiency.
The motor bell has been completely redesigned with a recessed 6-spoke design, offering a lower profile and more modern look. This design reduces wind resistance and lowers the center of mass, enhancing throttle response. Moreover, the recessed spokes contribute significantly to the bell's durability.
Despite these enhancements, the motor weighs just 29g with the full length of wire and low-profile plastic pants, keeping it under the 30g mark.
While the pants are interchangeable with V1/V2, the V3 stator and bell is only compatible with other V3 models. The SILK variant with 2306 2345KV N48 magnets is recommended but not limited to 4/5S 5" freestyle mini quads, while the STOUT variant with 2306 1750KV N52 magnets is recommended for but not limited to 6S 5" freestyle mini quad setups.
Please note that the thicker shaft in the V3 motor makes it incompatible with previous generation Steele motor parts. However, you can swap SILK N48 magnet bells out for STOUT N52 magnet bells to add power and response. Innovation requires change, and this motor is a testament to that spirit.
