The Aura 8 AFCS Flight Stabilizer is an advanced flight control system designed for fixed wing aircraft. It is lightweight and can be used with all major radio brands, making it accessible and affordable for pilots looking for state-of-the-art control.
The Aura 8 enhances the pilot's experience without interfering with their control. It makes the aircraft feel bigger and more stable, even in windy conditions, while also allowing for agility and precision in flight.
The Aura 8 Open Stock version comes with a blank configuration that can be easily programmed for virtually any fixed wing aircraft using features like Quick Set and Quick Trim. The system can even be initially set up at the field using only a transmitter and a receiver with a digital data feed.
The Aura Config Tool, a free Windows application, allows pilots to fine-tune and perfect their model. It is designed for ease of use with a New Config File Wizard and example Aura Config Files available for download.
The Aura 8's powerful 32-bit processor and micro USB port make it easy to update the firmware and add new features as they become available. The system currently offers three axis gyro stabilization modes, but its new generation six axis sensor ensures it is ready for future advancements.
Other features of the Aura 8 include custom tuning through a Windows PC, laptop, or tablet, 3+ flight modes for precise or aggressive settings, selectable gyro modes, and a Quick Trim feature for simplified storage of trim offsets.
The Aura 8 also includes eight individually configurable servo ports, two dedicated ports for Genuine Spektrum DSM satellites, a dedicated input port for single wire serial receiver connection, and support for traditional receivers via PWM servo inputs. It comes with a micro USB cable, four 'Servo' interconnect leads, and mounting tape, all packed into a lightweight and durable plastic case.
