I have an early production run M7 that came with the simplified aluminum servo arms. That’s what was pictured under the part number. but I received the newer, clamp on style servo arms. I assume the simple style are no longer produced. I had a mishap where a rubber landing mat got sucked into the main blades and destroyed all blades, skids/struts, and a tail boom. I had just one servo arm bend.
Now i have to replace all the cyclic servo arms if i want them to match, which is a bummer and a time set back. I’ll probably swap a pastic servo arm onto the tail servo and use that one for the single bent cyclic arm, saving these nice (but not what I wanted) servo arms for another crash. The clamp-on’s are Nice quality and great finish, I was impressed with how the original metal arm bent without stripping servo gears, I’m hoping the clamp-on’s have the same metal formula. Metal arms can destroy servo gears if they’re too tough, and the originals were perfect and look good. Have to deduct at least one star for not receiving what i ordered. I love OMP heli’s and may even pick up a 60” plank someday. I have the M5/6/7 and they’re all amazing, high quality, and fun to fly.
