The receiver did not bind to protocol as advertised, no good to me.

The protocols that will work with this receiver are D16 Frsky and SFHSS Futaba. To get it to switch protocols you need to bind it a certain way. Hope this helps!

These rx "Rock" and are a great value for the price. Frsky D8 protocol, Diversity antenna in a small fits anywhere package. BuddyRc has Great prices and fast shipping. What more could you ask for!

Works... Super light.

I have a few other radiomaster receivers and they all work great. This one gets upset when you get too close to it and starts randomly moving ailerons and whatnot. I was worried this would lead to issues with hand launching and recovering my models but it has not caused any problems. Using it with a TX16S and it does everything I want it to do.

I bought both the original R84 and the V2 and it seems like the V2 is a better receiver.
