Put 1st one in my AeroScout to test real-world range prior to placing in bigger planes. Great so far - Solid much farther out than I normally fly. Good looking Rx at a great price. I will upgrade review to a "5" based on long-term reliability - I bought 2 more (total 4 so far - I want to have plenty of non-geofenced Rxs on hand prior to full implementation of Remote ID!).

These receivers work great for my larger sport planes at half the price

I purchased a V710 receiver that did not work. It would not give led lights when power was applied.

I emailed Buddy RC, told them of the situation and they wanted to see my setup for binding, and what kind of transmitter I was using. I gladly gave them the requested information figuring some people had the bind plug in the wrong space or were trying to hook up with a non compatible transmitter.

The next thing I know a new receiver is on it’s way! It got here and I had it bound within 15 min!

The customer service is excellent, Buddy RC is a company that stands behind the product that they sell! As far as the V710…no matter how hard we strive for perfection, occasionally a bad one gets through….happens all the time.

What would be helpful is some kind of simple instructions for the product on the buddy rc web-sight. It would make things easier than guessing.
